My name is Brian Souders. I live in Folsom, California. I’ve been a harmonica player since I was twelve. My early influences were Magic Dick, Huey Lewis and David Barrett. My more current influences are Son of Dave, Jason Ricci and Adam Gussow. I don’t consider myself a traditional player. I’m self taught and I lean toward the funk genre rather than traditional blues. Nevertheless, the blues took me long before I ever picked up a harmonica. This is my story, and the notes of one Folsom Harmonica Player.
